This really exemplifies why boxing has lost so much credibility in recent years. The man is 44 years old, and hasn't fought in a title fight since 2002 - five years. This isn't like one footballer coming out of retirement after five years, because a footballer can be carried by ten other teammates...this is more like the entire 1999 treble-winning United team coming out of retirement today and entering into the Premiership. And even then, at least some of those players are still playing today.

The fact that this is even happening tells you how much of a 'competition' heavyweight boxing is.
